Is it too sheer?
The open weave is intentional—airy enough to add soft dimension while layering gracefully over a dress, slip or swimsuit.
Will it flatter my body?
The knit relaxes, glides and skims rather than clings. Its stretch and adjustable orientation create a range of drapes and coverage.
How does the stretch work?
The Prema Poncho may look compact when you first take it out of the package, but the open knit has a surprising amount of give. It can stretch to more than twice its resting size in the stretch direction, then relax and move with your body as you wear it. You can also rotate the Poncho to change the length, angle and drape — from more symmetrical coverage to longer, asymmetrical looks.
What should I wear underneath it?
The open knit drapes best over bare skin, sleeveless dresses and camisoles. It tends to skim the body rather than cling to bare arms, while textured fabrics and long sleeves can catch the knit more and change the way it hangs.
How do I care for my Prema Poncho?
Hand washing in cold water is the gentlest option. If you use a washing machine, choose a cold delicate cycle and always place the Poncho inside a lingerie bag to help protect the open knit. Lay flat to dry if you want to minimize stretching, or hang dry if you'd like the knit to relax and lengthen. A gentle shake after washing helps it settle back into shape, and it will naturally relax with wear over time.
Can I wear it beyond the beach?
Yes. Wear it as a wedding guest layer, to dinner or a formal event, then pack it for travel and resort evenings.
